TFAS currently has a substantial waiting list of over 40 people. Plots become vacant relatively rarely so our list will take several years to work through. Because of this, our waiting list is currently closed to new applications. If you’re interested in having a plot but are not currently on our waiting list, do keep an eye on our website. We will re-open once the list goes down and will let people know on our and Merton’s websites. It’s also worth checking our rules below to see whether you would be eligible:

• We have a single waiting list kept in order of when people originally expressed interested in having a plot.
• Because demand exceeds supply, we limit the awarding of any new plots to households that do not already hold a plot on the TFAS site. This ensures the widest benefit to the community.
• You will only be eligible for a plot if you live in Merton or, if not within Merton, within one mile of the TFAS site (defined as one mile from our postcode CR4 3LB as the crow flies.
